HTIS becomes part of UNITY AG

HealthTech Integration Services GmbH (HTIS), an innovative system house for digital solutions in the healthcare industry, was integrated into UNITY AG as of December 31, 2024. With this merger, two strong players are pooling their expertise to further advance the digital transformation in the healthcare sector.

UNITY AG, an internationally active consulting company, has established itself as a strong partner in the healthcare sector throughout the DACH region. With expertise in the areas of strategy development, process optimization, digital transformation and innovative technology applications, the consulting company creates sustainable added value for its customers. With this strategic addition, UNITY AG will offer technical implementation services from a single source in addition to its existing management and strategy consulting. The integration of HTIS expands the portfolio with specialized HealthTech services that focus in particular on interoperability, patient portals and AI-based solutions. This combination creates unique opportunities for hospitals, medical networks and other players in the healthcare sector.

Existing HTIS projects will be seamlessly transferred to UNITY AG, allowing customers to benefit from an expanded range of services. At the same time, UNITY is working hard to develop new digital solutions that are tailored to the specific needs of the healthcare industry. “As a result of the integration, HTIS's existing range of services will become significantly more powerful and will be able to benefit even more directly from UNITY AG's expertise and resources,” says HTIS Managing Director Michael Ernst, who is moving to the management board of nextOR GmbH.
