Victoria Elfes

During my studies, I pondered a lot about
what I want from an employer. Variety, challenge, fun, prospects for further development and a healthy balance between work and leisure. Many of these points immediately make you think of management consultancies, but work-life balance? - That doesn't fit in, does it? With this in mind, I started as a student assistant at UNITY in 2017, primarily to try out “consulting”. I tried it out for two years, during which I realized that I found all of these things at UNITY - even the work-life balance. But that's not all: at UNITY, I also learned how colleagues can become people I care about. After all, I became a permanent member of UNITY in August 2019. I studied business administration at the University of Cologne. During this time, I also turned my back on the most beautiful city in the world a few times to get a taste of international city life: In Paris, I did my laps around the Eiffel Tower every morning, in St. Petersburg I got to know (but not always love) the peculiarities of Russian student residences and experienced the White Nights and in Madrid I enjoyed paella, tapas and the good weather above all else! In the end, carnival, Kölsch beer and the kiosk culture will probably keep me in the cathedral city for a while yet.
