When I was looking for a new professional challenge a few years ago, UNITY immediately caught my eye. Not only the exciting topics and projects, but also the extraordinary culture convinced me from the very first contact. After almost eight years in a large IT company (including five years of dual Bachelor's and Master's studies), it was important for me to get to know the world of work in a somewhat smaller company. With UNITY, I absolutely hit the mark. At the Hamburg office, I now support a wide variety of projects and customers on their path to digitalization. And even beyond the project business, I can contribute individually at UNITY and expand my skills, for example as a trainer for business moderation training or in the area of recruiting SHKs, interns or as a team leader. Even my family is happy to see me back home more often. For a native of Paderborn, it's incredibly easy to combine professional appointments at the main location in Büren with a trip home. But UNITY not only offers me the freedom I need professionally, but also in terms of my private life. I was given the opportunity to take a two-month break without any problems. By traveling through the south and east of Australia, I was able to escape the cold winter in Germany and also get to know many great people, cultures and regions. In addition to exploring the large continent, I also used the time on site intensively for sporting activities. The fact that I was able to slow down from my usual daily routine even enabled me to achieve my personal best. All in all, I spent two fantastic months in Australia. Incidentally, I was accompanied for three weeks by a UNITY colleague who decided to visit me Down Under.
