Right after finishing my training as a tax clerk, UNITY gave me the chance to get some early work experience in financial accounting. That was over 10 years ago, and during that time, I've been both challenged and encouraged. This opportunity has helped me develop both professionally and personally. I have since obtained my training certificate, as I have been involved in supporting trainees in our department from the very beginning. I enjoy passing on my knowledge and seeing the trainees develop.
I really enjoy working at UNITY because you are not just seen as an employee who has to do their job. A lot of attention is also paid to human interaction. In my department, it's not just a matter of mindlessly typing in numbers; there's always something to laugh about, and the working atmosphere is simply incomparable! My great passion offers a contrast to my everyday office life in financial accounting: guard dancing. I dance with the Rot-Weissen Funken Ossendorf. In addition to the athletic aspect, I am also active in the carnival club and organize our guard dance tournament every year with a handful of people.
A few years ago, I also discovered my love for healthy cooking and enjoy trying out new recipes. It may not always work out, but then again, I didn't become a star chef!
