Today, I would like to introduce myself – I am responsible for social media and online communication at UNITY. My name is Julia Thiele and I have been working in marketing at UNITY for many years. My work in online marketing includes maintaining and developing our social media channels, managing the UNITY website, and creating newsletters. Every day is different – and always different from what I expect! UNITY gives me the freedom I need to contribute my own ideas, try things out, develop, and grow. I work in an excellent, young team where work is a lot of fun! Many of my colleagues have become friends.
I express my creativity not only at work but also in my free time: I love DIY projects, upcycling, and handicrafts made from concrete, wood, wool, and fabric. With my house and garden, I have also discovered the joy of gardening and growing vegetables – in small quantities. In general, I like to be active outdoors on the weekends – jogging, inline skating, cycling, and hiking offer me a balance to my professional life.
