It's a match - we're taking off together! We start with a comprehensive onboarding program. You will be accompanied by your line manager and your mentor, who will be on hand with help and advice. They will give you a comprehensive overview of our methods, internal processes and our culture so that you are optimally prepared for your day-to-day tasks. All UNITIES have fond memories of their BootCamp highlights. The BootCamp is our induction event for new employees. Project Arena

Consulting projects with our customers are at the heart of our work. The subject areas of our projects are clearly defined by our service portfolio. Central learning takes place daily in our projects. The success factor of our projects is the management via a committee, the so-called "Kleebatt", which enables a continuous project view from all perspectives.

Guidance system

Our management is divided into different roles, with our matrix organization forming the core of our management system. Disciplinary management is carried out on site by the team leader, while technical management is carried out by product management. In consulting projects, the project manager leads the team. The business units are responsible for client management.

Knowledge management

Our knowledge management is organized and documented in so-called "sales and workboxes". Here you will find everything you need - from slides for preparing quotations to methods for successful project work. Active involvement in knowledge management can become the second pillar of your professional expertise. The Innovation Hub is the central instrument for promoting our innovative strength. As a virtual organization, it bundles UNITY's innovation activities. Among other things, it focuses on trend analyses, the operationalization of innovative topics and the joint discussion of innovations in the Innovation Roundtable.

We support your personal development: our career models are crucial to your development, and you can enter and, of course, advance according to your previous experience. Each consultant rank is linked to a salary model consisting of a fixed component and various variable performance components. Depending on your strengths and passions, we will shape your development together.

Development talks

Open communication is firmly anchored in our corporate culture. This is why we hold regular discussions with your line manager in various forms (one-on-one, quarterly, performance review). Together we reflect on feedback, the current status, your goals and development measures. At the same time, the appraisal interview is a review of the past year and you reflect together on your skills using a skills assessment system. A target system and your training needs are derived from the identified potential and bottlenecks. The target agreement forms the basis for part of your variable salary.

At the UNITYacademy, we offer you comprehensive qualification opportunities. Here, we not only impart knowledge, but also enable you to successfully master the challenges of the present and future with a practice-oriented and sustainable approach. Our portfolio consists of a mix of classroom training, e-learning and blended learning concepts. Your individual training planning takes place as part of your development discussions and is based on the existing training portfolio and the learner journeys derived from it. We attach great importance to a combination of technical, methodological and personal development training in our training courses.

Coming straight from university? We have developed the "Digital X Starter" program to provide you with comprehensive training and further development after your university education. Your journey as an official UNITY team member starts after the interviews. During pre-onboarding - the days before you start - you will get to know your mentor, who will guide you through the initial period and the extensive UNITY career development system.

What do our multi-track career development paths look like & how can you help shape them?

In the framework of regularly occurring career development meetings, you have the opportunity to actively shape your individual development. Based on your personal interests and strengths, you will follow one of our multi-track career paths, which also allow you to switch between career paths.

For example: As a Senior Consultant, you can immerse yourself in the areas of leadership (team leader role) or business (area) development as well as other areas. You can change these roles depending on your development interests.

    The F.A.Z. Institute, a subsidiary of the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ), has once again awarded us the "Germany's Digital Pioneers" award in 2024.
